What is a one-way rental?
When you pick up a rental car at one location and return it somewhere else, rental car companies consider this a “one-way rental”. For these types of rentals, the car rental companies charge additional fees called one-way fees or drop fees. These fees are paid directly to the rental car company and are subject to the local taxes and fees.

Rental Price

Together, the rental price and the one-way fee determine the estimated rental total. Since the two amounts are billed in different currencies, the price can only be estimated due to daily fluctuations in the exchange rate between euros and US dollars.
